I woke up last night kind of panicked about rides at Disney- how am I going to do this?
It will be me, dh, and three boys, ages 6,6, and 5.
Will they allow 3 people in a seat so we could do me, 6, and 3 and then dh and 6 year old?

I wont have to let my 6 year olds ride alone will i? Thats nerve wrecking! Will most of the rides let 3 of us in a seat?

All the rides are different. Some seat 4, some three some two. You will have to split them up the best you can. Space Mountain seats 6 people in two cars, but they are all one behind the other.

We just always made sure an adult was with or behind the least confident of our children. Disney understands these things and will do their best to accomodate the little ones.

When you get to the front of the line a CM asks how many in your party and they will seat you together the best they can. Ask then if you can stay with your 6 and 3 yr. old. As mentioned above they do thier best to accomodate families.

Whew! Hopefully most of them we will beok!! Paramount parks seem like every ride is 2 people, its BAD!

When we went in December my Dh was in a conference for the morning so I was with my DS 6&8 for the mornings. There are the rides I remember we were able to sit togeather-
In MK- Buzz, Teacups, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh
In Epcot- Test Track, Journey into Imagination, Malestrom, Ellen's Energy
AK- Primeval Whirl, Dinosaur, KS, KRR
MGM- no little cars!

In MK we may have sat 3 on BTMRR. For some reason I can't remember Splash Mountain. My DS8 was probably behind us. You are still pretty close when split that way.

I think Splash Mountain can be 3 in a seat. I've seen pics of 3 people in a seat. I'm hoping because we've got 3 kids but they all would feel better if they were sitting by a parent.

Yes, Splash Mountain can sit 3. You shouldn't have a problem. On some rides a child has to be 7 or older to sit by themself. Rides like Dumbo, Aladdin,Astro Orbitor are a few that I can remember.

JeanKeri gave a good list of rides than fit more than two. There are also many that are big benches that will hold your whole family (all 5 of you) like:

MK
Pirates of the Carribean
It's a SMall World.
Tomorrowland Transit Authority
Jungle cruise
Haunted mansion should fit 3
Peter Pan's flight should fit 3

AK
Kilimanjaro Safari Ride
Train ride to Rafiki's Watch

MGM
Great Movie Ride

Epcot
Maelstrom
El Rio del Tiempo

ANd of course all the shows are no problem.
I'm sure there's more....you'll be fine for the most part.

Hope that helps. Relax and enjoy!!

PS We're a family of 5, (DD 5, DD 3, DS 2) and I worry about the same thing everytime!

We are a family of 3-- 2 adults 1 child. We can ride most everything together. Which is nice so someone doesn't have to expierence it alone. Things like RRnRC only seat 2 but with the ages of your kids they won't all be doing it anyhow. Most rides will comfortably hold and adult and 2 kids.

Wow, I'm impressed that someone actually collected and chronicled the pictures of all the ride vehicles!!!

Obsessed much, everybody?? Yes, we are!
