Seating for Treats and Seats Fireworks Dessert Party

so if there sleeping going into the desert party they will let them in or do you mean the restaurants
We had to park our stroller on the outside ramp and take her in our arms. Hopefully they’re more understanding with your twins. We had 3 kids (teen, 5 year old and 2 year old) with us and we weren’t allowed to take the stroller in.

At other dining locations we were allowed to take the stroller in if she was sleeping; we prefer not to bring it in if she’s up and we can put her in a high chair.

Edit: Per parks blog- take a carrier; strollers aren’t allowed apparently

Do you think they will let our double stroller in for our one year old twins to sleep in for this event
We also had to park our double stroller, but we didn’t have kids sleeping in it so I didn’t ask if we could take it in. I don’t believe I saw any strollers in the dessert party, we did the seated one.

It would have been nice to know this ahead of time. I re read the fine print and it doesn’t mention it anywhere.

If you use the stroller as a wheelchair and it is has a tag for DAS then I believe it has to be allowed?

Yes, wheelchairs were obviously allowed in, so if you need a stroller as a wheelchair it would be allowed in also.

We’ll be better prepared next time, but we were unaware of the no stroller policy.

It’s hard enough monitoring one kid to take turns going up to the buffet. Hopefully garyjames220 is not alone with the twins.

We don’t have any diagnosed disabilities so we will put our DD in a carrier before lining up for the dessert party (we have the after party booked).

I went last month and all the tables were along the edge of the terrace, none were under the overhang. And the tables were not preassigned as far as I could tell but they did walk us to a table and put a "reserved" sign on it once they sat us down.

I have booked the HEA seats and treats dessert party (four people) and would love to hear about recent experiences when it comes to seating :)

I’ll try and report back in a bit. They start seating roughly an hour and a half before fireworks. I got here around 6:35 to the start of seating and no one else has come to wait until 6:55.
From what I gather seating is first come first serve, but will know more shortly.

They opened the gate at 730 and I got the first choice of table. The only real restriction is what size your party is. The tables closer to Main Street will have a slight view of the castle if you want to see the projections. The tables closer to Tomorrowland will be “closer”, but there are trees obscuring the bottom section of the castle.

Thank you so much for reporting back :) I hope you had a great time :)
May I ask if they also had tables under the ‚overhang‘ or just along the edge of the terrace?

There were some tables not on the edge. I believe it was more for the large parties, but they were maybe 15 ft from the edge. The food is all underneath the roof so they have plenty of space between that and the next row of tables. The line didn’t really form until 110 minutes before fireworks. I would say some of those would definitely have more obstructed views of the fireworks, so I would recommend to send someone to wait and get a great table. If you are going to be there the night before, take a peak so you can get an idea of the tables. I didn’t get a picture of the whole set up

Thank you so much. That is so helpful especially since I couldn't find any recent pictures of the set-up online. On the website it says the check-in for the party is starting 60 min prior to the fireworks but I will make sure to arrive earlier so that we get a great table. The rest of my group can join later :)

The website does say 60 minutes, but they told me they start seating 90 minutes prior. I’m not sure about the other parties. The cast members do say there are no bad seats, but I would have to say some have much better views depending on what you want to see.

That makes perfect sense. Again, thank you very much :)
