Does anyone know if they have tables for 6 at the 50's Prime time cafe?
I made reservations for my family and it stated that we might be seated at two tables.

thanks in advance,

I think they tell you that no matter what if you're party is over 4. I remember being told that for Liberty Tree when we had 5 people but you should be fine once you get there. They may ask you if you want to split up if it would be quicker then waiting for your 6 person table but just say no if you don't want to.

I've been next to a family of eight at 50s PTC. As a pp said, you may have to wait a bit, but it will be worth it for the pleasure of eating together as well as the fun time you'll have there!

They do in the back corner where the food comes out. They are seating for 8 I think there. But be flexible because most seating is for 4. Have fun and eat your veggies~

They DEFINITELY do. We were 25 when we went... of course WE weren't all seated together, but we were definitely not split up in groups of just 4. I think they have to say that to cover themselves.

We are a family of 5 and we were seated at a table for 6 in April. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes they do. When my boys were younger we were a party of 7 an ate here every trip :cool1::thumbsup2

Thanks everyone for your quick responses... And thanks for the additional piece of advice regarding eating our veggies, one of the reason i booked here is because I'm always tell my kids when I was a child I had to eat my veggies or no dessert. Although I'm a product of the 60's the dining experience should be fun for my children.

As for the veggies, one time DH hadn't eaten his green beans and our server fed them to him saying "Here comes the airplane" and flying them into DH's mouth. Another time, our server spelled "Eat me" out of the uneaten green beans on DH's plate. Our kids got a big kick out of these meals! :rotfl2:

Here is a picture of DH's green beans.

I'll have to see if I can find the "airplane picture."

I wouldn't worry, even if you're at 2 tables, they will make sure they are in the same "room". Additionally, if you're not happy with that and want to wait, they will let you wait for a table you're happier with.

We are eating here in a couple of weeks and will also have a party of 6. Do the TV tables just seat 4 or would we have a chance at sitting at a TV table? All of the pics that I've seen online have been for 4. Sorry to hijack, but your question brought this to mind!

I've never seen it done (only been there 3 times), but they could scoot another table over.

3 small kids might be able to sit on one side, 2 adults on the other, with one on the end.

Stupid question (and sorry to threadjack,) but with the "eat me" picture, I have to ask -- do the servers handle your food to do that, or do they use a utensil?

I get super wiggy about fingers in my food (I know it happens in the kitchen, shhhh!) and I'm afraid I'd wig out on the server, lol, not in a mean in yelling way but more in a meltdown way. I have some issues. ;)

I am totally game for the antics, teasing, etc, just want to make sure the servers are not so "over the top" that it's acceptable for them to mess with the food that's on my plate.

Thanks! :)

Our server used a fork to do that (she was hysterical), but it wasn't until DH was done with his meal. He took Ds to the restroom and while he was gone, she asked me if he was done. When I said yes, she got a fork and went to work rearranging his green beans. I don't think they would mess with your food while you are still eating it.

I've seen tables for 6 and 8 that are TV tables. The TVs are small, though; the folks at the end may have a tougher time watching.
