seasonal spikes in prices?

Anyone notice if there is a seasonal (summer) spike in prices, and or a post summer or post-holiday spike in listings?

I know there was a spike in prices in March during spring break time for cash booking. A lot was sold out, too. Yes, pricing is seasonal.

For DVC contracts, I heard end of year is a good time to buy resale.
