Seasonal AP benefits during summer

So we obviously cannot go into the parks during block out dates, but if we go to dine/shop at Disney Springs this summer, will we still get our discount even though it's during the block out dates? TIA

Interesting question, It's parks that are blocked out so I don't see why resort or springs dining and shopping discounts wouldn't work.

I would check with guest services. For Disneyland APs, in my experience the discounts don't work on blackout days; even if the CM scans it, it will come up as 0% on that day. That would include free parking, merchandise, and discounts. It may be different for WDW though.

In Disneyworld I never once had my AP scanned. Just the expiration date and id checked. But I assume the Florida ones look different.

I don't see why not. They don't scan the AP card and there's nothing on the back that shows it's seasonal, silver, gold. You'll show the card and ID and I don't see how they would even know it's seasonal. Regardless, I've never seen anything that says AP perks aren't valid during blackout periods

Awesome question. I've never had a blocked out AP, though my DS does. I haven't had them scan either, just checked the years on the back.

So far "A valid annual pass card and government-issued photo ID must be presented at time of purchase to receive discount." The question is what does valid mean?

All AP benefits besides park admission are valid on block-out dates.

This includes theme park parking.

Yay! i was hoping but we rarely go outside of blockout dates, but since we have the weekday passes, we may want to go over on a weekend. This is good news
