Seas with Nemo & Friends Question

I like the ride. It's fun and has cool animation. My only criticism of it is that it doesn't follow the story of the movie. The whole time everyone just swims around and goes "Nemo? Anyone seen Nemo?"

DS 3 AND DH LOVED NEMO. IT IS A CUTE RIDE BUT THE WALK TO EVENTUALY GET ON THE RIDE IS VERY LONG. ITS WORTH AT LEAST SEEING ONCE:cheer2:

We just got back yesterday from WDW and agreed as a whole family that Turtle talk was a must-see (me, DH, DD(9) and DS(7)). They have moved it to a larger theatre that seats about 150-200 people, and strongly encourage all of the kids to sit on the floor at the front. This makes Crush able to see them all and interact with them easily, and the kids who were there at the time were well-behaved and absolutely fascinated by Crush who could see and communicate with them personally. It did make for some difficulty to find our kids when we were all dismissed at the end, but my kids are old enough that I wasn't worried. I would have been much more concerned if they were under 6.

Crush was so funny that I think the adults in the audience enjoyed it at least as much as the kids. If you remember when the Muppet Show had inside jokes for the grown-ups but some funny parts for the kids as well, this is very similar.

The ride in the clamshells is just OK - worth doing once, but only if there isn't much of a line.

Enjoy!

Is there a 'Finding Nemo' shop within this attraction (or anywhere with WDW?) I'd love to get some Peach or Dory merchandise...

I thought the ride was really cute, and worth seeing at least once.

There is a ton of Nemo merchandise at the Living Seas shop near the back of the building after you exit the ride.
I think it's pretty cute. The ride itself if well done and Turtle Talk is definitley worth seeing. It was open last week in its new location.

The Clam Mobile ride has a jaw-dropping stupendous visual trick to it that is Disney imagineering at its best. But its brief, and most people take for granted when they see the animated characters swimming in the large aquarium. I don't know exactly how they pull this off, I have an idea maybe, but it was magic enough for me the first time I saw it.

Most folks seem to just shrug thier shoulders. I'm not sure if it's because they assume it's an easy effect to pull off - or if they don't really appreciate what they are seeing.

Unfortunately, the ride doubles as the main entrance to the Seas, so EVERYBODY is on line for this, making the wait longer than necessary.

Its a nice place to sit down and cool off but I would not wait in line for it

I am debating going to see Turtle Talk. My kids will be 4 and 5 when we go. Is it a show or is it just a question/answer with Crush?

Again, the technology is amazing, it is kind of a question answer, but crush is in the aquarium and actually interacts and responds to the audience. The kids get to set up close, and Crush puts on a great show. The adults enjoy it, and the kids love crush!

DS (9) loved Nemo. There were times when it had a 45 minute wait and times when it was a walk on. We just waited for the walk on and rode it 4 times during Spring Break! Agree that the characters swimming in the real aquarium was awesome.

Turtle Talk was funny and well worth seeing. DS laughed through the whole thing though he didn't want to sit down front because he thought he was too old :guilty: .

We thought they both added new life to the pavillion.

The technology behind Turtle Talk and the visuals in the Nemo Ride are worth the visit. (yes, even for us "grown ups" and traveling without kids). Just watching the interaction between the children the Crush is so cute--and not predictable given the nature of kids! Who knows WHAT they are going to say?:goodvibes It's a real improvement over the original Living Seas.

My family and I rode this last Tuesday and thought it was pretty good - not great. My DD (2) loved the ride and my DS 8 liked Turtle Talk with Crush - Crush even picked him out of the crowd and asked him some questions. If I didn't have young ones, I would probably not waste my time on this one - especially if there was a line.
