Searching has been disabled???

I've tried going under my "statistics" to search for threads I've created or posted in and I'm getting the error message:

Searching has been disabled

Anyone else getting this? I use this tool obviously to keep track of threads that I've posted in and to keep up with friends' posts.

I noticed that the search link was gone from the navigation bar. I thought I was seriously memory impaired and just couldn't remember where it was supposed to be.

Alex gave us a heads-up a couple of days ago that searching going to be "off and on" as they're putting in a new search engine.
