Me, Andrea ,38 planner, worrier - 'I just think I will check that again'
DH, Chris, 44 driver,porter,waiter.etc...'did you say food & drink festival?'

DD, Mimi, 5, 'pink' crown firmly in place. wand in hand
Discovery Cove day
I have waited for this day for so long now. I promised myself a swim with dolphins before I reach 40! and I did it
We were in the car by 7.45 and arrived in good time. Check in was easy. We were allocated a swim at 9.20 from Starfish Cabana. Only me and Meg were swimming as Mimi was too little.
We had our briefing about tucking everything in as the dolphin will see anything dangling as a toy!
and were led out in a group of 8 to meet our trainer and dolphin. Our boy was named NAT and was a 3 yr old male.
His grandad was also in the pool with the group opposite. We go to stroke Nat and then give him a kiss. we then swam out one by one to deeper water and were towed back in again. we all got to give him a fish and learn how to give commands. more stroking etc. and piccies with him.
The only down side was the horrendous rain. when we were driving there I had a thought that it might be cancelled as it was raining so must and DH cound not risk the camera or cancorder but it cleared up later.
We then headed over to the aviary and fed the birds. Mimi was terrifed.
We had a go in stringray lagoon and coral reef and the lazy river was just wonderful. meg was never out of the water all day! her and DH spent it all snorkling.
Lunch was really nice.
This is a wonderful place, you feel so special and relaxed. It was worth every penny! and we have some wonerful picture and memories to take home.
We left about 5pm and went to walmart for more shopping. I found a Michel's for more scrapbooking stuff. we arrived back about 7.30 and were too tired to do anything else.So we got takeout pizza from Pepper Market.
