Our December visit will be our sons first conscious visit (10 mnths last time)!!He loves the Disney Cars film - well anything with wheels really - he will be almost 2 in Dec. Is there anything in WDW featuring the film? Or anything that you think will particually appeal. Our older 2 are teens now so we are trying to remember the tiny stuff!:confused3

The 'World Of Disney' store at Downtown Disney will stock cars and other items from the film.

I think an attraction at one of the parks would be a great idea but guess that's easier said than done.

You can meet Lightning McQueen (and Tow Mater) at Hollywood Studios, just near the exit from the Backlot Tour.

We met Lightning McQueen at Hollywood Studios in 2006 it was amazing, he drives along, revving his engine, eyes moving. Then stops so that you can stand by him for photos. The cars came out by the hat - not sure if still doing it but if so your son will be amazed.

Last year they came out by the Lights Camera Action stunt show bit - we didn't actually realise what people were queuing for!! On the left, on the way down to the show in case you miss it on the map!!

Was fabby - think I remember someone saying they have changed the back drop that the pictures taken against - we had the big hill from San Fran in the background but sure someone said it's different now!!

hi

have you been to dlp - they have the new cars ride, they were constructing it when we went and when you went on aladdins magic carpet ride you could see over the top of the screens - they had not got very far when we saw it - shame there is no cars ride at wdw as my son likes cars.

I think we will be spending a lot of time watching Lightning and Mater this trip :)

best thing is to ask on the theme parks section of the forum for where Lightening and Mater come out now.

Lst year it was in the Streets of America at 9.30am right by the power Rangers - my boys were BLOWN AWAY!

but I think it might have moved and its now 10.30 I heard.

ask over there and you'll get a definate answer;)

thanks will do :thumbsup2 Ive got to say that this makes quite a refreshing change from princess stuff :lovestruc Our little lad came 10 yrs after his 2 sisters. We are all cars mad :yay:
