Sea World Questions

I just bought my tickets for Sea World. Apparently if you buy for one day you can go another day within 7 days. Should I plan on going for 2 days? Is there enough there to keep my kids happy both days?

Also, I saw that they have a breakfast with Elmo - has anyone done this? What was it like?

TIA

although i suspect the time of year/specific date comes into play, there's enough to make it a full day, but i would probably opt for this than trying to make it 2 partial days.

in other words, if it really warranted you going 2 days, it would cost more. parks make their money on concessions and merchandise, not admissions.

The only reason I would think a 2nd day could come in handy is the timing of the shows. We were just there in October and noticed many of the shows play within a few minutes of each other. Unless you got there at the park opening and stayed until close, it would be difficult to see every show. If the shows are not your thing, you really won't need 2 days.

We went in 2007 and got there at opening and did everything there except for the night show and left at 5 pm. Two days would have been overkill for us.

In case you didn't know, there's actually a SeaWorld section to the Disboards. I went there all the time before my July SeaWorld Trip.

I think it depends on when you go.

We went for a day and a half in July and could have used the other half day. It was crowded but we really enjoyed it and we did end up missing one show we really wanted to see because of the crowds and weather at that time.

My kids who were 8 and 12 at the time, loved it.

I've moved this thread to the Sea World / Discovery Cove board. Hopefully you'll get lots of great answers to your questions here. :)

We went back in Feb. Our first time to Sea World since being married! There was a group of 12 of us! We took advantage of the buy one day, get the 2nd day free. It was very good for us. With a big group, it was harder to move through the park quickly and see everything. We went for a full day our first day, and then about half of the day our 2nd day. We split the days up with about 2 or 3 days between. This allowed everyone on the 2nd day to see attractions or shows that they missed the first day, or ones that were favorites!

I would definately take advantage of the 2nd day free, again! I loved not being rushed, but able to take our time and see as much as we could! HOpe that helps!
