Sea World in early OCT?

I am planning a trip to Disney October 2006, would like to include 1-2 days at Sea World. We have not been to Sea World in a few years (in Ohio), and kids would love it. How are the crowds.....I will be traveling with dh, and 3 kids, 3,8,and 13.

The crowds will be fairly light so I do not think you will have any problems - October for weather/crowds is a good time to go.

We were just at SW Orlando in mid-October...Weather was great. We were there on 3 different days and weather was sunny and mid-80's every time. We were there on a Sunday, Thursday and Friday. Weekends in Oct are their Halloween event. There is no separate admission for it and they don't do a whole lot. The Shamu night show was a little different (however the Shamu Show is getting a complete makeover for 2006, so I don't know what will happen to the Halloween Shamu night show). The only other major addition for Halloween is the addition of trick-or-treat stations for the kids to get candy. There are some Halloween decorations around the park as well.

Crowds were a little heavy on the weekends, but they were easily manageable. Just be sure to arrive at Shamu very early so that you can get a good seat. You will have a hard time doing all shows in one-day, so you will have to pick and choose if you only spend one day at the park.

We were there the third week of October. It was crowded but not overwhelming. If you're interested in rides, definitely head to the back of the park and ride on Kraken and Atlantis right away. We walked briskly to Kraken and got to ride up front right away-- we immediately went back on and sat in the back row. However, when we exited, we saw the line was already a 30-min wait! The lines stayed long for the rest of the day.

Well We went then a couple years ago
and the crowds were not to bad. They were actually fairly light if you ask me.
