Hey, I was wondering how the second day at Sea World works. My parents were going to be down at Orlando the same time me and my wife are and was wondering if me and my wife could use the tickets one day and my parents the other day. thanks

I'm pretty sure you have to scan your fingerprint at the gate...I had to do that with mine.

Well, they never give you too much information about the 2nd day free program because it's a perk they want the freedom to cancel at any time, but both times we've used it, you need to go to a little window just inside the admission turnstiles, and get your picture taken... they then give you a plastic admission pass with your picture and name on it for the next day (actually, often it's longer than one day free, depending on what promo they're running) So the pass is non-transferable.

However, I must say the people working the turnstiles are totally uninterested in scrutinizing your pass. So you could probably get away with using someone else's pass.

I don't think I would even chance it. I have seen people not get in on the 2nd day pass tickets that didn't match. They had to show ID with same name as on the pass when pic was differentl Being turned away trying to use someone elses pass is embarrassing. They are intended for 2nd day for people who actually used the original pass.

When we went for the 2nd day free promo, and went to the window to get our tickets done, they had to see ID with our names on it, and they were printed out in our names. When we returned the following day to use them, they took the tickets, but also our ID to make sure the names matched! I don't think I would try it! We didn't have our pics taken though!

I don't believe Sea World is doing any tickets with pictures any more. I have an AP and we don't have our pictures on it so I highly doubt they would fool with taking a picture for the second day free promo. :confused3

Metro is right- no pictures. But they can and do ask for ID. The 2nd day ticket is for use by the same person who used the first day.
