SDV Orlando 2010, August 27 - 29

I have a zillion things to do, but I feel like I'll get it done. I'm not even a 1/4 way through my table favor gifts, but they're coming along. I have to get Mexico kitted by Thursday, or at least cleaned up, because we're having guests for dinner Friday and where do you think all my Mexico stuff is - in my craft room? Nope - all over the dining room table!

Yeah- I need to get one of those shirts for SDV along with every other vacation my family goes on. DH has no idea the preparation that goes into planning our trips.

OK my pics are in the mail. Yay- hopefully I'll have them by this weekend and I can start kitting them. DH will be gone on business M-F the whole month of August starting next week- so it will be just me and DD. It seems I can get alot more done when he's away- the house stays cleaner at least. LOL

Is anyone considering doing one of the tours that Nancy sent an email out on? And if so, which one. MomE, dlbwright, and I were talking about doing one but not sure which one .

I was thinking about it, but the cost is too rich for my blood right now. I'd love to do a behind the scenes tour some day; I get a discount being a passholder, but DH has no interest in it.

Yeah- it looks good to me too- but alot of money. Maybe after I've been to a few SDV's I'll go to one of the tours.

I was thinking about it, but the cost is too rich for my blood right now. I'd love to do a behind the scenes tour some day; I get a discount being a passholder, but DH has no interest in it.

I agree, DH also has no interest, I have done them solo while he was "lounging" by the pool. Good trade off AP discount and Me time in the parks!!!

I went on the SDV website and it says "check back soon" for classes- I really have vacation planning OCD- I have made lists of what clothes, scrapbooking tools, etc. I am bringing. I do this at work when we are not busy. LOL I did get my pics I ordered today(all 582) , so I divided them up into occasions and will start to make kits for the next 2 weeks. So excited!!!

We're definitely down to those last 3 weeks of panic

I finished kitting Mexico last night. I'm so glad that's done! I don't think I'm going to kit the album for my friend's sister's Goddaughter. I've bought a few things, and have some stuff I want to cut, paint, and glitter. I want to go very "girly" but mostly I'll just wing it when I get there. I have 4 projects so we'll see how far I get this year!

I've never taken a class at SDV, and don't plan to this year, but I am curious what they'll be offering.

Yeah- that's kind of how I am- not taking any just seeing what they have to offer. I am so excited- my little is meeting tomorrow to finalize all of our arrangements- so we can make sure everything is done.

I can't wait to meet another super planner like me too. I feel like half the fun is the planning!! I love it!! We will definitely have to compare notes on our upcoming Alaskan cruises.
