All kiosks here now closed due to tech difficulties. :). The CM's there told me I could do additional FPP's for other parks only on my phone but not at the kiosk but I'll try if they're up again later.

It sounds as if you are having too much fun!

Thanks again for researching and the real-time reporting!

One more test. Used another son's AP (again not here) to ride Mission Space (Tier 1) with pre booked FP. Cancelled remaining two and booked a Tier 1 (F!) for HS.

Okay, kiosks back up so I tried for another park but was unable to see anything other than Epcot. Also, no Tuer 1 rides left at Epcot right now (shocking I know), at least at the kiosk.

Thank you for checking. :goodvibes

Interesting. So it seems that you can use your first pre selected FP in a park, then cancel the other 2 and make those in 2 other parks completely if you want...but that will only work with fast passes connected with tickets. If you are using phantom MB's for SDFP you cannot make any FP's for any other parks without physically being in that park. Did I read all of that correctly?

That's how it's been working for me today. :)

I'm not certain I am interpreting it right - I rode MS (Tier 1) and it let me book F! (Tier 1) without an issue. But I now cancelled that one and have no remaining FPP's for that person (only rode MS and cancelled other 2). At the kiosk and on my phone I get this message now - it's sounding like it won't let me do a second Tier 1 here, not that one isn't available?

Editing to add I tried it again with a different person and it's not letting me choose another Tier 1 after using one and cancelling 2 in the same park.

Editing again I tried booking FPP for a friend who isn't here and doesn't have any FP today and there are still Tier 1's available (Land, Illuminations) but not to me after canceling 2. Going to try more.

Perhaps the system won't allow a repeat of a Tier 1 if you haven't used a total of 3 FPs for the day?

My FPs for today did include 2 Tier 1's:
RnRC
Living with the Land

Figment
Pixar Shorts were the other two

I could do it in the app.

Clarifying - I could change them in the app for the same park but could not add for another park after using one since it then said there weren't valid tickets.

So that's new. You didn't have to log in through the website to modify SDFP. The app worked. Nice!

Hiro! I have been out of the action too long -- how long have you been a Mod? Congratuations!!

Okay final edit - apparently the system is not recognizing that I'm using the FPP for someone if they're not in the park. I did MS for my sons and it still gives me the option to change it to something else but not book another. Same for my SDFP's and the Land - it doesn't reflect they were used so I can't book more but can change. However I did Land for me (in park) and as soon as I scanned at the Micky head I was eligible for another, including Tier 1's and I haven't used all 3 of mine. Let me know if this isn't clear and I'll try to explain better when I'm home and on a computer.

I checked this multiple times. I am definitely able to change a SDFP in the app, BUT when I deleted one so my SDFP only had 2 FPP's I was not able to add a third from the app, even for the same park (it then reflected a need for a ticket). But I was able to go back to the kiosk and add a third (again in the same park).

Thanks for all of your help today! We get there on Wednesday. I really just want to be able to book three additional in the same park first thing in the morning, so sounds like I'll be good to go! I'm not going to mess around with changing them or trying to make them for another park.

This thread, as well as the referenced one by ScrapYap, have been a wealth of knowledge.

After reading lots, can someone please confirm if my thinking below is correct. Of course, I know that this assumes the loophole is still open in June when we go.

My MDE has 6 active bands from a trip from last year. I made a new reservation for 3 of us with the same MDE account (dumb, I know).

1. I should bring the 3 new bands I'll receive for the new trip and the 3 old bands from last year's that belong to the unlucky 3 that can't go this year.
2. The 3 old bands that belong to the 3 of us that are going this year should be left at home because they are clones.
3. I can only prebook FP+ for the 3 new bands.
4. I must go to the kiosk each day to receive SDFP+ using the 3 old bands from non attending family members.

How am I doing so far?

My questions:
How do I best modify those SDFP+ tied to the old 3 non attending family members after the initial kiosk visit? Do/should I have to create another MDE account for those 3?

Anything else to remember to do or not do?

Thank you so much for the info and help. I really appreciate it.

1/2. Correct. You can also bring your old ones in case one of your new ones breaks or you want to color coordinate with your outfits since they'll be exactly the same as your new ones in terms of how they function.
3. Correct
4. Correct (as of now)

You shouldn't have to do anything with creating a new MDE if those prior family bands are currently linked to your MDE and (as of today) should be able to modify them via the app (assuming again, whoever's bands they are has made it so you can view "all" of their plans - not just "shared" plans). If for some reason you can't do this (ie it's a more distant family member you wouldn't want to ask, etc.), you could still use them for SDFP and just make all changes on the kiosk (and snap a pic of them as you went). I have several cards I use that aren't linked to my MDE and since there are no longer any tickets linked to them, I can't add them. But I can still get SDFP and just change at the kiosk. If the bands you have were linked previously and not in your MDE, you can't link them to a new MDE anyway. That's more for people buying new, unlinked MB's.

I'd just keep reading in this subforum as people post if there are any changes.
