The OP was trying (way to hard) to be funny, and the core information was lost in an attempt to be clever.
Not sure why you felt compelled to post this. The OP was trying (way to hard) to be funny, and the core information was lost in an attempt to be clever.
A few (100) families of 4 can take out 1200 FP+ from the system, assuming they only use one extra band each for 3 extra FP+ per person, and many people will use more than that.It doesn't matter if he said "This is all combining" or not. A FEW PEOPLE cannot keep THOUSANDS from getting SDFPs on their valid ticketed MBs/tickets. Hence, the bigon my part.
Well, 400 people is not still not "a few" ... it's "hundreds"A few (100) families of 4 can take out 1200 FP+ from the system, assuming they only use one extra band each for 3 extra FP+ per person, and many people will use more than that.
In any event, SDFP is dead as of tomorrow morning and whatever some blogger writes as the reason is irrelevant, whether you wish to roll your eyes or not.![]()

I will miss this loophole, but it's certainly disney's right and prerogative to secure their system.
To me, this was reminiscent of using paper fastpasses after the expiration window. I'd rope drop, ride everything with minimal waits, and collect as many fastpasses as I could throughout the morning. Then I'd just use them leisurely through the afternoon/evening.
I've only taken advantage of this loophole on two trips. I have a 13mo AP that I plan to activate in August, but took quick 2 Park-day trips in February and May with my 21mo. The AP bands got us additional advance FPs and it worked out great to ensure we had 6 good rides without lines (plus rope drop efforts) with a toddler.
I'll likely never be in a situation again with 2 sets of active ticket media, but regardless, I'm glad Disney is doing this to improve the overall guest experience.
The problem with this becoming so popular and promoted by podcasts/forums is that people then complain to Disney when it doesn't work right or they don't understand. So this just wastes Disney's efforts and causes a negative guest experience for those trying to use it.
I know it's not a popular opinion, but I'd be very happy if Disney gave a 4th FP to folks in a moderate resort, and a 5th to folks in a deluxe resort. There's clearly demand for this. With a baby I can no longer commando the parks, so I would definitely find value here.

THE PARTY MAY BE ENDING VERY SOON!
I posted on another board that the FP+ changes are just a prelude to extra FP's for an upcharge...
Do you mean June 8, by any chance?I've been here 2 weeks and will be here through July 8.
@Dean1953 has a very long vacation!Do you mean June 8, by any chance?
Tested at MK with no issues with SDFP booking, use or transfer today. At AK and and expect the same but will update if I see anything different.Has anyone reported today if SDFP is working? (on our way to MK)
If you are using the transfer method do the other bands have to have a ticket connected to them?
