So cryptic - meaning probably ballpark? Much further out? Just working on it?
A very important backstage related system, that is used by almost all CM's is down for maintenance in the night between June 5-6. Coincidence? I think not. They seem to change a lot in their IT. Be careful guys.
Is there any chance that the "reassign ticket" feature will go away with this update?
That would make me so sad! I just linked a ticket from UT, reassigned a non-expiring ticket, and used change party to fix my FP+ for an upcoming trip all in under 5 minutes. I've become so spoiled. A call to guest services would have a wait at least twice that on a Saturday. I think (wishful thinking) there are many legitimate reasons for these features to remainThey might make it necessary for you to call guest services to reassign a ticket - but that would defeat the whole purpose of the MDE system (I know it's really MDX, but I like MDE much better) -- which is guests being able to take care of their own planning.

To double check, even if I only pre-book 1 FP for the day, I still have to use all 3 in order to be able to book (or in this case transfer in) a second Tier 1 FP. Right? It's the same true for AK and the Pandora 'tier'? I would need to use 3 FP (before I can book another Pandora ride?
Thinking that means that for AK the touring plan (assuming a total of 6 FP using the transfer) would need to be to do 2 things before Pandora, then back to back Pandora rides, then do the other 2. Hmm..
Do you think it's possible they might make a person call GS to change the name on a ticket?
I was just asked to be on a Podcast. That would be amusing, but this is probs all too nebulous to comment on!
I vote do it! Care to share any specifics? I find your writing very entertaining so if that's any indication I'd tune in. If you care to, PM podcast info. If not, I also understand. Either way, you should definitely do it!I was just asked to be on a Podcast. That would be amusing, but this is probs all too nebulous to comment on!
You do have to do the two Tier 2 rides before booking a second Tier 1.
It's pretty time consuming to do all this, but you could choose to book as follows (bolded attractions are the ones you actually intent to ride):
Primary Account
Dinosaur 9:00 a.m.
Primeval Whirl 10:00 a.m.
FOP 11:00 a.m.
On a secondary account (with a linked ticket, but not used for park entry), book:
NRJ 11:00 a.m.
Safaris 12:00 p.m.
Mickey & Minnie 1:00 p.m.
Arrive in Dinoland by 9:55 a.m. Tap and skip Dinosaur, then walk over to immediately tap and skip Primeval Whirl.
Go to Pandora and ride FOP (you'll have time to visit the counter service for one of those cool drinks first). After the ride, transfer (CPFP) the NRJ from the secondary to the primary (the band used to enter the parks). Ride NRJ (your second Tier 1 of the day). Transfer the Safari FP and ride it. Transfer M&M and visit them. Book more as you go along on the secondary account, as desired. Or on the primary.

I'm thinking it'll have to be something like that..
I also won't necessarily have to tap them right? The expired FP 'should' dissapear when they expire? (tapping is just the backup if they do not?)
It might be worth your time to read through the first post of the thread. Even though SDFP is changing, there is a lot of important information there - including making sure your kid profiles are well under 18. The years pass quickly, and you may not want that guest to be over 18 too soon, for various reasons. Give them a birthday in 2003 or 2004 at the latest.
