SDD FP issue in MDE

Does anyone else have the issue when trying to modify FP times for SDD it gives the error “We’re sorry, your selection is no longer available. Please try again.”

I can change all other times but not that one. Even deleted and downloaded the app again and nothing. Been that way for a couple of days.

Does it look like this? If so it's just because there are no other times available.

Slinky dog is the hardest fastpass to get. Unless there is extra hours in the morning your very unlikely to get a earlier time slot besides maybe on the day. A lot of people who missed out would have set up alerts on websites to tell them if a time slot comes available so will be very unlikely to find a time when you try and modify
 

No. It says exactly what’s in quotes above. Have a FP for it already just trying to modify times for earlier in the day. Just weird it’s happening for just that one.
Try using the mobile site instead of the app and see if that makes a difference. What type of device are you using?

Yeah. And luckily I was able to grab one for 2 days of our trip! Just trying to get it earlier in the day.

Ok, I use Android so it may be possible that trying to change the FP time for a FP with no more available times gives a different notice for iPhone. Maybe try modifying the time on another FP that wouldn't have any availability (such as FOP). It seems to make sense that you are only getting the notice on SDD if the other ones happen to have availability.

It must be something to do with not having any availability. Tried to modify my FOP like you suggested and get same error. I’m just used to ADRs that don’t have availability at least giving times to change and refresh and being able to get a reservation if one happens to pop up.

The latest update made it work this way. You have to back out and then hit Continue again. That's why I recommend using the mobile site instead of the app as it still works the same way that the app used to.

Weird. Android must be working differently that iOS because backing out and clicking continue still gives me the same error. Will move to the mobile site.

It just means there's no other times available. I have an iphone 8 and it gives me the same message when there are no other times. They changed some things on MDE app recently. I like things the way they had it before. It seems easier to make and modify FPs on mydisneyexperience.com now.

Yes, it will keep giving that message over and over unless a time is available.
 
When we were there over the holidays, I was able to get several same day FP for SDD. However, there were two times when there was a FP available, but I lost it because I got an error.
 
On iPhone app that is the message you will get if there are no times available when modifying time—agree the message is confusing!

I kept refreshing that page by using the back arrow. I would keep doing this until any a time popped up. Then I would then be able to look for other times by just selecting different hours from the bar on top.

That said, from experience it’s unlikely you will be unable to modify a SDD fastpass unless more fast pass times are released because park hours changed, or it is the morning of your park visit. Good luck!
