My husband's band had this lead singer who was messing up lyrics all the time. Two of my favorites are:
"It was a warm spank night at the old town hall" instead of "It was a warm SPRING night" from Rock and Roll Hoochie Koo
And: "He's dancin' with the chicken slats" instead of "He's dancin' with the CHICK IN SLACKS" from Twistin' the Night Away by Sam Cook
WTH are chicken slats???? and worse yet what's a warm spank night??

Heh. I heard that song this morning and I was going to post about it. WTH? What ARE the lyrics? Wrapped up like a deuce? What's a deuce? And why is it wrapped up? I had to turn the song off so my kids wouldn't ask me what a douche is, or as he sings it "dooosh."

Shannon G. to highlight when are replying, type in the phrase you want to highlight and then select that text with your mouse/cursor - then above the reply box where all the font selections are click the little down arrow by the big black underlined A - it will bring up a box with all kinds of color selections click on the bottom right color (white) and when you post it should come up as white text in your message that you can highlight over. HTH
