Scuba Diving in Key West

Hi all! For my fellow scuba divers, is there time to do a dive in Key West if we are only there from 11:30-4:45? (I know there are no DCL excursions, I'd have to find an independent company).

Probably not. Most dive excursions in the state take a minimum of 4 hours to complete.

Last week on the Disney Dream I did a two tank dive in Nassau and the group met on the ship at 11AM which in my previous experience diving with Disney was a bit late to start. We left the ship around 11:15AM and took a 45 minute drive to Stuart Coves and still had time to do two great dives and make it back to the ship with an hour to spare before the departure time of 5:15PM. Yes, I did book through DCL so even if the transportation was late coming back I knew the ship would wait, nevertheless it can be done in the amount of time you mentioned. To play it safe I would definitely pick something close to the port and watch your time.
