Scuba at Castaway Cay??

We will be on the 3 night Wonder in Feb. 04. My husband and son are certified scuba. I had read about a scuba excursion from Castaway Cay. Anyone have any current information on it that they can provide?? Thanks

I just received my excursion packet from DCL the other day so I have some info on the Scuba Dive Adventure

The cost is $89 per person and last for 2 - 2.5 hours. The excursion times are 9:15, 11:45 or 2:15.

According to the brochure it sounds like you go to 2 dive sites. One is a 60 foot dive and the other is a 40 foot dive.

I'm sure you could find additional info on the DCL site.

We were on the 6/28 Eastern and scheduled to do SCUBA diving at Castaway Cay. However, Disney called a few days before we left and said that the diving was cancelled due to poor service. Therefore, we couldn't go diving, and our money was refunded.

I'm not sure if they've hired someone else since then or if they just don't offer diving anymore; we were excited to learn of the new diving excursion when we were booking activities because we were also on ship a year ago and they didn't have any diving on Castaway Cay whatsoever, but it ended up being cancelled anyway! ;-( Didn't bother me.. after a horrible experience in St. Maarten I was just happy with our parasailing excursion!

We were on the Wonder in May and before we left it was cancelled too due to "vendor related problems", but they told us to check back, once we got on the boat.

Once on the boat, we found out that they were only offering the scuba on the 7 day Magic. Well now it seems that they are not offering it at all.

It is too bad, since it is probably a relatively untouched reef out there.
