My hopes of driving to WDW have been dashed.
The cast is me, the wife, 4 year old, 7 month old, and the in-laws. We don't have a vehicle big enough to accomodate 6, let alone 6 plus luggage for a 10 night stay and there just seemed to be no guarantee that we could get a specific vehicle through a rental agency.
Instead of flying out of Columbus, we're going to drive an hour further to Dayton and fly out of there for $90 less per ticket. The total cost will probably be pretty close to being a wash, but I do enjoy the drive. We should be in our room (if available) within 5 hours of heading to the airport, so that will be nice.
We will also miss having the car down there somewhat, but not too much. I am concerned about transporting strollers and baby on the plane--that will be new for us.
No real point to this post I guess. Just a rambling. There goes my excuse for buying that Toyota Sequoia though.
