Scrapbooks for Give Kids the World

I wasn't sure where to post this.

Last year I think there was a "swap" wherein pages were for Give Kids the World. The idea was to make pages and leave spaces for pictures and/or journaling. I seem to remember each person making a few identical pages, and then sending the pages to a leader. (Unless I am imagining this??)

My question is -- will there be another effort this year? I am interested in participating, although I don't necessarily have enough time to organize it.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I think it was Lisa (Mommy2mrb) that organized this "swap" last year. Haven't heard anything about a repeat this year. I would PM her and see what she has planned.

yes it was me who hosted that swap! I am planning to do one again soon, need to find out Jen's schedule (morgansmom2000) for the other LO swaps she doing for the parks this year I don't want to do them at the same time since they are both very time consuming.

That's a really nice thing to do! I have made albums for Make a Wish kids in our area....it is why I started doing swaps. I could have a lot of page elements to get pages done decoratively and quickly. Those albums are so special.

I'd love to participate in a swap here if you have one.

will post an interest tread April 6th and then sign-up thread on April 22 ...due date will probably be late June/early July!

hope we can get another great group to join in this year for such a special swap!

My Girl Scout troop is volunteering at GKTW soon. I'm interested in getting the girls to make small albums for them. What type of pages do you make? General vacation or do you put various parks from Orlando in it?

our last years albums we kept it pretty general...did a black, yellow, red theme and made it gender neutral also....since most families have different things they do to pre-make the albums is tough to make them specific!

we make 12 x 12 double page layouts and sign up for what pages you'd like to make...I will have an interest thread starting on April 6 in the swap threads
I will go locate last years thread and post it here for you to check it out!
