I'm not sure if I am posting this in the right place...so please feel free to move it if need be.

I will be travelling to WDW later in the year and I like to take the opportunity to stock up on as much scrapbooking items as possible. ;) It costs a lot to ship stuff internationally!

I like to get lots of Disney kits but also want to try and get some everyday supplies. In previous trips I have just used the shop at downtown disney (can't remember the name).

Can you recommend any good stores in the Disney area? I will be staying at the Universal Hard Rock Hotel & also the Wilderness Lodge but I will not be driving so if you could only suggest places that are 10-15 mins away as I will need to get a taxi! I will also be visiting the Mall at Millenia, are their any suppliers here or nearby?

Thanks in advance!

You have to go to Mouse Memories www.mousememories.com they have fab stuff! And ACMoore (craft store) I'm not sure how far away they are though. There are some things at WDW but not much.

When are you coming? Aug 21-24 there is going to a be a huge crop at the Yacht Club and I know there will be lots of Disney supplies there.

hopefully one of the local girls will be able to be more help.

Thanks for your help. :thumbsup2

I will look up MouseMemories.com & ACMoore. :woohoo:

I am not coming until December....how do you find out about events like the crop at YC?

I've actually visited MouseMemories on a past WDW trip. Can't say I came out of that store empty handed but enjoyed the visit. :)

To get to the AC Moore....

If you are at the Mall at Millenia, head East on I-4 through downtown Orlando. Millenia is at exit 78 (Conroy Rd), you want to get off at exit 84 which is Colonial Dr (Hwy 50). Go East on Colonial, and it will be on the north side of the street. If you reach the Fashion Square Mall you've gone to far.

The address is 2999 E. Colonial Dr

Walmart! I know for these ladies its not the same, but for us from the UK its quite a revelation! (And you can get stuff like socks and things cheap too). If you keep your Walmart receipt, any problems when you get back to UK then Asda will sort it out. Worth the taxi fare!

LOL sorry Walmart is a given so I don't even think about it. Although I like Target better. But for socks, yes Walmart is the way to go!

I didn't know Target stocked Scrapbooking stuff.....:thumbsup2

I bought a ton of stuff at Walmart. It was so cheap compared to over here. On top of the stuff I bought at WDW, my suitcases weighed a ton.

most of them do, near the office supply section.

I have a question for ya'll. How so you get the stuff home, and what are duties like? Or do you ship everything?

On all my previous trips I take an empty suitcase and an extra holdall bag (I can shop really well :rotfl: ).....fill them with all my goodies and just check it in at the airport as normal. :rolleyes1
