Hello everyone

Just wondered if there is anywhere in Dlrp that sell scrapbooking stuff like scrapbook albums, papers, stickers etc. If so may I know which shop that sell these? Thank you x

I'm not sure of specific shops but I have no doubt you will find lots of things you can scrapbook with! I love to scrapbook and you will find an abundance of stickers and stationary type things in a lot of the shops.

The kodak shop might be a good place to start for a nice album/scrapbook?!

Thank you! Will definitely be looking out for this when we are there. Never done a scrapbook before so quite excited to start! :)

Never ever seen anything special for scrapping but it is something that is not that wide spread here :confused3

As pp said you could surely find bits and pieces that you could use even if they weren't designed first for scrap in the first place. It will be a case of using your imagination I guess :goodvibes

Thanks Carrie! Yes definitely i'll be collecting all those programme guides, receipts from restaurants and few bits and pieces there :) just mainly looking for the album :)

Hello everyone

When I was last in DLP I brought some stickers of various Vinylmations. I think they were either from a shop in Studio One or a shop in the Village. I planned on giving them to my cousin as a gift but decided they really needed to stay with me :rolleyes1

Yes they do sell scrapbooking stuff - or they did in 2009 & 2011 :) But it's obviously not as popular over there as it is in the UK or USA as there wasn't a lot of choice and it really was a case of hunting it out.

I bought a pack of backing papers/frames/stickers etc from the shop in the HNY, I know it had 2009 on at least one of the frames and possibly on some of the other items. Can't remember how much it was exactly but I think it was around 10Euros

The other shop I've definitely seen scrapbooking kits in is in the main park. There is a book shop, can't remember it's name but after you've gone into the park under the train station it's on the left, the last store on the corner. They had kits which contained a scrapbook and backing papers/stickers etc. I think they were over 20Euros, I remember picking one up and putting it back down as I didn't have enough left in my budget :lmao: I'd been looking for 2 days and only spotted them by chance on the last day as they were tucked up a corner!

When do you go? I'm there 18th-22nd so will have a look for you if you like and update when I get back - I don't get back home until 24th but probably won't be online until 25th - it's my birthday on 24th so I'm hoping I'm being taken out for the day ;)

And no I still haven't done any scrapbooks for any of our trips :lmao: if I can find where I've put the 2009 pack I'll update with the price etc

Duffys domain :lmao: That's what I call that shop as Duffy has taken it over

Seeing the relationship that I have with that bear is nul I tend to avoid the place but will have a look next time and see if I can see anything as it could make a nice souvenir of my time at DLP :goodvibes

Thank you Suzi! I'll be going next month, 7th-11th of April. If u can have a look and let me know that would be great! Thanks a lot :) x

awww nooo Carrie - you can't hate on Duffy, I totally bought into all the Duffymania! haha (easily pleased) :rotfl:

I can imagine you would need a hundred of scrapbooks just to make a souvenir of your time at DLP!! :rotfl2:

This scrapbook thread has got me thinking :scratchin and I would love to make a scrapbook too, I just have no idea where to start or what exactly goes into them. Are they like a photo album where you also keep receipts etc or is it like a diary where you write a trip report into as well? It sounds like such a fab idea though! :goodvibes

Yay found the scrapbooking kit from 2009 :thumbsup2

I lied - it wasn't 10Euros it was 7.90E!
It contains
6 'double sided designed paper sheets' (8"x8")
1 sheet of character stickers (about 18 stickers)
1 sheet of border stickers (basically 9 x 8" strips)
1 sheet of alphabet stickers
5 paper frames (5 designs)

Can't post a photo at the moment as I can't remember my password for photobucket :lmao:

Adam - a scrapbook is basically a 'posh personalised photo album' ;)
It's entirely up to you what you put in them - just photos, journal type pages, envelope pockets to put receipts/tickets in or just attach the tickets to the page etc

If you google 'scrapbooking' there are hundreds of sites dedicated to it :lmao:
You can buy ready made books where you just add the backing paper and your photos to the pages or you can make your own from scratch by printing the pages and covers yourself :)
Be warned it's very addictive :rolleyes1

This might be of use if you haven't already found it

If you go back to the main forum menu and scroll right down to 'Just for Fun' there is a forum called 'Creative Community', they have a scrapbooking section in there :thumbsup2

Also in the 'Just for Fun' section below Creative Community there is the 'Creative DISigns' forum

Have a look in both of those for ideas and printable designs :)

Oh wow thank you Suzi!!!

I'm going to scrapping everything this year now, you watch! Haha!!! It definitely seems like a fun way to keep all your lovely Disney memories though!
