Scrapbook refill pages??

Hello!

I'm starting my first Disney scrapbook, (which is only my 2nd scrapbook ever!) and I can't figure out where to find refill pages. I think I need about 5 more pages.

I'm using the Disney Cruise Line 2005 Scrapbook, and in the corner of the plastic wrap it says "Scrapbook Starter Kit- Accepts refill R-XLG1015."

Inside the scrapbook there are 3 metal screw like things, which obviously hold the book and pages together. The pages are clear pockets, with black 12x12 paper inside. That's how the book came.

My question is- Where can I find these refill pages, and could I use any pages that fit? I'm so confused. I tried looking on eBay but that was even more confusing.

Also, does anyone know of any good scrapbook stores in NYC? (I know, this city has everything, but sometimes that makes it too hard to find what you're looking for!!)

Thanks, Katy

Check with Joanne's. Under the albums at our store, there is every kind of refill imaginable. Hopefully they will have yours. :flower:

Well, I found out that they have the refills here-

WDW Scrapbook Refills
Holson Products 1-800-243-8633
Packs of 15 pages & 10 page protectors.
Item # R-XLG 1015
$4.99/refill pack

HOWEVER, when I called, they said those refills had been discontinued a few years back. :(

Now, why would Disney sell a 2005 scrapbook and advertise on it that you can get refills, when the company you have to get the refills from doesn't make them anymore?! :sad2:

I'm really confused because I don't know what kind of refill pages to get now!

Can someone please help me with this? :confused3

First of all, I'm assuming my scrapbook is a "post bound" because of the screws in it, but can I just buy any 12x12 refills? I think I need "top loading pages" and I'm pretty sure the clear plastic is a "sheet protector."

All I know is I need 5 more pages (whcih would give me 10 pages actually) and I want the new pages to look as much like the ones that came in the scrapbook as possible.

I don't know why I'm stressing out so much, I just thought I'd buy the scrapbook, and then make it! But so far I've run into lots of problems and I haven't even tackled the question as to what sort of glue I need! LOL!!

Oy. I have a headache thinking about all this...

im not sure where you can get those same pages - but if you want to have all the same pages - when you find new pages that fit you could just replace the ones you have? im thinking that your pages slip into the sleeves, right?

I called up WDW Mail Order Merchandise looking for refills for my 2004 WDW Scrapbook and they told me that a company called Collected Memories will have the refill pages that I need.

Collected memories

The owner told me to get the

3-Ring Disney Album Refill Sheet Protectors and Pages

They are exactly the same size, the only difference was the edge where the holes where, and you can't really see those anyway.

I went to the Scrapbooking store at DTD last week and the CM said that they just completed a customer survey and hopefully the store will be getting refill pages and a better selection.
