Scrapbook page ideas

I'm starting to think about what we might put in our scrapbook this year for our holiday in September. We've only ever done one scrapbook before and that was after a week long holiday. So I'm thinking that after a two week holiday we'll have plenty of photos and stuff.

Of course there's the obvious stuff, like pages for each park, restaurant pages, drinks pages (like drinking round the world), character pages, hotel pages, but I'm after some more unusual ideas that I can include.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Is this a digital scrapbook? Real or scanned park maps worked quite nicely for one of mine - especially ones where DD had circled and written her "Very importint stuff" next to some of the attractions :rotfl:

I also scanned our room keys and other bits and pieces and used those. I do mine digitally now but they worked just as well when I did 'real' scrapbooks :)

In the past I have included a disney dollar, park tickets, disney phone cards, paper napkins from restaurants if they have pictures and logos on them, fast passes and receipts. Hope this helps.

Yeah haven't really thought of using stuff like napkins and disney dollars. Guess I'll just try and collect as much stuff as I can!

I've done pages with photos of Disney transport -monorail, ferry, Disney bus etc and pages with photos of Hidden Mickeys. Also photos with some of the little details that Disney does so well, as everywhere you look, almost everything is themed to fit in with the Land, area or country, - benches, lighting, flooring, even restroom signs. I also take photos of the menus in our favourite restaurants to go along side the food photos.

Like Mandy, I also collect any memorabillia that's flat and can be stuck on a page.

Thanks, some good ideas here.

Hmmmm, I can see this getting out of hand! Think its gonna be a challenges to stick to just one scrapbook...

Love the idea of photos of the transport. So easy to do as well. And the menu photos to go with restaurants we've visited is a great idea - I'll definitely be doing that one!

In Disney they had some good scrap book pages wish I got some now.

We have our room keys, magic express passes, DD was given stickers for special places like new fantasy land ones or one for going on the water taxi so I have kept them. Fast passes, park maps, napkins, Duffy from kidcot, and lots of other things

I have also bought a few packs from Disney and love them. I have kept one sheet of each aside so when one design runs out, I just scan it. I guess I could print it if I was making actual scrap books but I keep mine digital now and have them printed. It's so addictive though, no matter which format you use. Hope you're going to share some pics of your completed project :)

Of course! It'll be a real one, hopefully we'll get one out there. Gonna just keep everything I find to put in.

I know they sold scrap books, didn't realise you could buy just the pages as well though. That'll come in handy!

Yeah I think they had stickers to match as well.

I will eventually. I didn't buy the pages I was worried about weight of suitcase.

This year the wife and I have each purchased an extra suitcase allowance for the return flight, so I can see us getting everything we can get our hands on!

Ha ha we had 3 bags between us all 20kg we were bang on coming home. We bought a lot.

We're usually like that! So hard to plan it right, especially without scales to check!
