ScrapBook Kit on QVC Today

Just wanted to pass along that today on QVC the "Today's Special Value" is a 8000+ piece scrapbook kit for $37.86.
It looks like there are a lot of up to date elements like ribbons, chipboard and flowers, etc.

I'm a member of a UK scrapping forum and we've all been moaning that we never get really decent scrapping deals on UK QVC (and US QVC won't deliver here )

I was *so* tempted to buy this today, but I resisted . I always seem to have issues with kits (I never use all the stuff you get). You can go onto the qvc site and get put on the waiting list if you really like this product and still want to order it.

There was enough in the kit that I liked so I went ahead and bought it. I got it yesterday. I feel like I got my moneys worth.

That Today's Special Value Was my BIRTHDAY !!! I felt like it was an all day Party !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Which is a big deal when you have a sucky birthday in February, I'm looking into having it legally moved to Fourth of July ...... Seriously.)
The kit is WORTH THE MONEY. Not too much paper, but nice stash of ribbon (In small amounts). The HUGE stack of chipboard was a series of repeated designs, so only the colors varied on about four layouts/sets.
But It made me pull out one of my previous purchases the Brenda Walton Julianna kit from two years ago, (previous poster was right I never use all I get in a kit) and use these chipboard accessories and whatnot to accessorize (SP?) on some beautiful Brenda walton pages.
IT'S ALL GOOD !
