Before I ask my question, please know I am a beginner. I bought a bunch of scrapbook supplies in WDW last month to make the memories of DD1's first trip fun for her to look at. I got some of the kits with the reg size paper, stickers, & the Mickey ears scissors. Only problem is, at the outlet sales, I bought what I thought was a scrapbook album, but upon further inspection, is a photo album. It is a bit smaller than 8.5 X 11, and has a hard black cover with black pgs inside. There are precut slots in the pgs to place the pictures. There is a picture on the cover in the shape of Mickey's head with a flag on one ear, and some park icons in the other areas. Anyway, could I use this as a crapbook? What would I do differently than regular scrapbooking? There are screws I could take out to take the paper out, but they are painted, and I would probably scratch them. Any suggestions?

You could do several different things, You could remove the pages and buy 10x11 top loading page protectors if they fit. You will need to measure or take with you one of the pages so the holes line up. You could also just add your pictures to the book and embellish it with stickers, or a lot of journalling. Making cards the same size as your pictures and insert them with stories and decorate it. Still would be a great album. Not what you had in mind but the memories would still be preserve!
