I want to make a scrap book with my trip reports & photo's in. Anyone know of a good shop in....

Goole
Leeds
Hull
Doncaster
York

that I can get supplies from?

The bigger the shop the better as I like variety!

Have a look on this site UK Scrappers

At the bottom there are links for different sites, I have used Artbase, Scraptastic and Paper Arts before.

Also have a peak on the gallery do a search for disney for some good idea's :) If you look back far enough you may see some of mine on there :)

Sorry this is a rather late reply, stupid internet!

In Leeds, there's a Hobbycraft (enormous superstore) at the Crown Pointe Retail Park. In the city centre there's Craft Wise (on the outside of the Merrion Centre - near the wedding shop and Jowett & Sowry on the headrow next to JJB Sports. There's not a huge selection really but it has to do!

Thanks Queenie,

Have already been in the one near the Merrion Centre, will try Crowne Point soemtime next week.

Cheers

Jodie - have you done any pages yet?

Nope, I decided that a 2 week holiday would be too much for my 1st attempt so am going to do one for our first xmas in our home & our xmas trip to dlrp 1st instead.

Does anyone here post over on the cooking, crafting, scrapping board? I'm over there but I know there's a handful of other brits.

Good idea Jodie :)

Queenie - nope havent had time to pop over there yet.

I like scrapbooking too, but it hasn't caught in the UK just yet, which is kinda sad. If anyone could tell me a good shop in Chemlsford, Braintree or Colchestor that would be nice!

I have been scrapbooking for 2-3 years, have a look at the UKScrappers site I mentioned. Lots of scrappers on there and lists of shops.

There's a couple of craft fairs called Hobbycrafts at the NEC in Birmingham every year - I went to the last one a couple of weeks ago and you couldn't get near some of the scrapbook supply stores for the amount of people (just like a NEXT sale!)-I bought several magazines on scrapbooking and I'm thinking of taking it up. The next one in Birmingham is 30 March to 2 April. The people who run it are www.ichf.co.uk. The only event near Yorkshire is a fashion and embroidery one though. There's a CraftsAlive at Henley-on-Thames next august (reading all this off the leaflet I picked up).

Cheers

I believe there's a paper crafts fair at Leeds football ground in Jan. I might be going along if it looks good as I'm only a few mins from there.

I wished we lived closer to take advantage of the fairs :) I would spend a fortune ;)

Kayleigh, there's a Creative Stitches and Hobbycrafts fair at Exeter - Westpoint Centre 21-24th September next year (probably not soon enough!!)
