We LOVE Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian! We like to do that on our first day! Of course, I must have a glass of veuve cliquot with it!

really nice walk around the resort scott, i have to add, that the cozy cones are as comfy as they look at the pool, we really enjoyed sitting in those while there.

glad you liked the burger/ surf and surf...i heard many mixed reviews on it.

i did not get it as i have never had a crab cake and not sure if i would like it so didnt wnat to use a credit and not like it.

but thanks for your review might have to try it now in the future.

OK I caught up again.

The Granf Floridian Cafe looked good, especially that dessert.

Loved the pics of POP and AOA. I am leaning towards POP for December. I really need to decide.

Aubrey is very cute and Vinny looked like he enjoyed spending time with her.

I love the Afternoon Tea. I don't drink hot tea but the coffee is really good.

I know what you have decided.

I had the Mad Hatter's tea.


And I ate at the Artist's Palette that night.

I enjoy that place.

I really want to try the Afternoon Tea sometime. maybe next year when we go.

Nice updates, great picture tour of POP and AoA. I stayed at POP a few years ago and there are so many neat photo ops there.

The pro is that you can get pictures with no people in them. The con is that the lighting is not good. Still, it is nice to walk around in the morning and watch a dark, quiet Pop slowly come to life and work itself into another bustling day. You got some nice shots!

Hope you get a new laptop soon. Mine 'glitches' on a regular basis. I am thinking of going ahead and getting a new one when my income tax comes in, because I'm thinking this one is not far away from dying out completely. Gotta have a 'puter!

So true about the pro and con. Other con is any creature can jump out of a bush. I saw a snake once.
I got a desktop. I don;t care for laptops and I have a tablet for travel so went back to desktop.

Great pictures - enjoying all of them especially the GF ones. We have never had a meal here or tea/desserts.

Also - appreciate the Pop (any value resorts) pictures - have never stayed at any of the values or even passed by. Will have to add them to our list of places to visit - one at a time

You should try it someday.
I would love to try all the resorts.

I am back and so let us carry on.

Day 11 has begun and today we have a new addition to our cast, Ryan. First up we have a breakfast we need to get to.

Here are the three of them as we walk on.

The crowd level going into Magic Kingdom. We are not going here so we will move on.

We had to wait here for our ride.

We boarded the boat and I took pics.

I wish I was on this right now. It is cold here and that looks so nice.

This is a great restaurant, Narcoosse’s.

Grand Floridian is so gorgeous but so expensive.

Okay turned out to be 1 decoration. LOL. We have arrived.

However, now the problem came and this time it was my fault. They could not find us and I did not have the confirmation number in my phone because we made the reservation the night before. He came out and told me and I went to talk to the CM but nope not there. I then went to concierge and asked them and they could not find it. Went back to the podium and she said she could take us but just couldn’t find the ressie. If you would like to know why they couldn’t find it then highlight here it was under Vinny’s name to here.

Then we wait a minute and then we go up to have our photo taken.

We were then seated and here is a beverage menu on the table.

And with that I am going to stop.

I love the Grand Floridian but it is expensive. I did stay here once and it only cost me $25 a night for an amazing view of the water. That was the trip that made me realize how much better staying onsite was than the Ramada.

I haven't eaten at 1900 Park Fare since I stayed there but it was good.

And yes you do know where I am staying in December and it isn't POP.

I wish I was there now also, I just can't seem to warm up with this cold weather. That is funny why they couldn't find your reservation . I love Aubrey's shirt, breakfast at 1900 is so much fun.

I did that once, and booked with my hubs' cell phone so they couldn't pull it up..That's what I get for not carrying my cell with the confirmation #s But they were able to FINALLY find it!!

We were seated and then we went to the buffet line for food. I believe I went with the younger ones first.
As we all sat down.

Now get a little closer.

I would think I was up getting an omelet here being Vinny took the pic.

The breakfast was good. The omelet was the best and so was the strawberry soup which they give you the recipe for on a card with the photo.

The reason we went back to the resort was because this was our check out day and our check in at Aofa. But wait a minute what did we do last night? We changed the reservation. I called Debbie our rep from AAA and so she canceled the AofA part and rebooked us for the remaining nights at POP. We didn’t have to move or anything we just had to get new keys. So we got the new keys and we were on our way.

Now an hour passed since we had gotten to back to the resort and we did not plan on staying here so we were off. Here is our destination.

Yes Ryan when you are with me I take lots of photos.

Soon enough we were there.

Okay I think we shall.

Someone took longer because they had a bag.

Mickey is watching all of us.
