Scott & Biff return - A September pre tr

I hung up and remember thinking, maybe I was getting too old to play with my Barbies if my friends were doing that.

The funny part of this story is I actually told it to Buzz and I should've known better b/c he thought it was hilarious that I was a teen ager playing with Barbies. Every time he tells the story, I get a little bit older. The last time he told it, I was 19 and playing with Barbies....:sad2:

:lmao: That is a funny story. I'm sure Buzz tells it well too.

Wow-Scott you have some good Barbies in your collection!! :goodvibes Makes me jealous!!

My brother collects toys and has some pretty neat things. He has some Barbies too.

Buzz wasn't making fun of you! He just knew I am into Barbies and knew I'd like to know you collected them. I have a funny story about me & Barbies that I've told on the boards, but it's been awhile so hopefully you won't mind if I hijack your thread for a minute.

My family built me this huge Barbie house out of left over materials from odd jobs my dad was doing around our house. It was so big it had to go in our garage so I played out there.

I was about 14 years old playing with my dolls when the phone rang. (We had a phone in the garage) so I answered it and it was my friend telling me she just did you-know-what with her boyfriend. She was the same age as me for crying out loud. :sad2: I hung up and remember thinking, maybe I was getting too old to play with my Barbies if my friends were doing that.

So sadly, I boxed them up and put them in the attic. It was too much though, I got them back down and would lock the door and play with them in private so my brother wouldn't make fun of me. :headache: I probably played with them a few more years before I put them away for good.

And now back to your PTR:

I like Cali Grille better than Narcooses. I don't know if you're into romance, but it's more of a romantic setting with an AWESOME view!! It's my favorite place in WDW.
I know he wasn't making fun of me. but I would still get the gay mafia after him. :lmao:
that is a funny story. 19 yrs old. :rotfl2:
I am keeping CG for sure.
now I have to go to your report and see how u r doing.

Good morning Scott. Did you get your adr canceled? Its shaping up to be a beautiful day here in Va. What about new york? Have a great weds! :goodvibes
good afternoon now.
not yet, sometime later I will. It is gorgeous here today.

Linnie - Love your Barbie story! :lmao: Better to be playing with Barbies at 14 than the other....

Scott - Can't wait to hear about California Grill! Sounds like a great place to try on an adult only trip.

Linnie - I LOVE your Barbie story. It's too bad there aren't MORE 14 year olds playing with Barbies today... they grow up WAY TOO FAST... :guilty: I'm lucky my DD14 is still a bit of a little girl at heart....would love to keep her that way forever.

I hope so. I have heard only good things about it.

CG = Better Than Narcoossee's. WAY BETTER! ::yes::
thank you. :thumbsup2 glad I made the right choice.

:woohoo:

really though u make it sound like this thread is always active.

It usually is -- yesterday, I missed three whole pages.

If I check in while I'm at work I can keep up better. 15 more minutes and I get to go home!:cool1:

:cheer2: for 15 minutes!

I try to check in at work, but I can't when students are around -- I don't want one of them to go, "Whose Charleston Princess???" That would be awkward :). The connection at work is so much slower than the one here at home so I tend to get frustrated!

It is slowing down here.

"Whose Charleston Princess???" = :rotfl2: :lmao:

So we watched Sam Brown the other day. Biff really liked Soarin' and is excited.
Test Track not to excited but wants to try.
No tea cups.
no California Screamin', then I told him it was in DL and he said thank god. :rotfl2:
Off to see if I can copy the episode to google again.

I made changes today but I will post them tonight.
Canceled one and booked 4 more.

Wow he is in for Soarn' I am excited for you. I just love that ride. I agree with the no teacups. I always make DH take the kids on it. ;)

What day is your CG again. We are have an ADR there on the 8th. Just wondering if it is the same night. We could have drinks before or after together:hug: or both:rolleyes1

Hurray for Soarin' and Test Track.

Sad about the Tea Cups, but that's probably an easy one to give up. Does that mean Mission: Space is out, too?

I am with Biff on that one -- when I make it to DL, I am not doing that one!

Can't wait to hear! popcorn::
