I am new to Vera Bradley and wondering if I can scotchguard it against water.

I did a test run of my park bag at Great America and found it to be too small, even tho it did great in the rain. I am now thinking I may need to use my Vera Bradley Cargo sling (hipster too small), but it is obviously not going to be water repellant.

Don't know if it is good for it or not but I did put Scotchguard on my Vera Bradley backpack and nothing bad seemed to happen to it.....at least not yet

I know of people who have scotch guarded their Hope Garden patterns... I would not hesitate, personally, all it will do is protect your bag - may even keep it cleaner.

I have about 10 VB bags and I scotchguard everyone of the them. I don't think it helps against water, but it really helps with stains. I have also washed them a couple of times. (just take out the cardboard in the bottom first). Hope this helps! :goodvibes
