Scooter rental

Hello Friends!

Last trip to WDW we had to rent a scooter for me. I went into the decision kicking and spitting but it saved the vacation. It's so easy in Florida with multiple websites.

Now we are looking at our upcoming trip and we may have to rent a scooter again. I know I can rent one as available at the entrance to the park....but I would need it for travel to and from the Grand Cali. (ok, I know that isn't far --- but it's farther than I can manage right now).

I'm hoping I can avoid it but if I need a scooter....is there a scooter rental company you recommend?

We stayed at the GCH our last trip and rented an ECV from Deckert Surgical. They had good rates, much cheaper than renting in the park. They also delivered it to the hotel for no fee. It was waiting for us when we checked in. It ran great for our whole stay. Their phone number is 1-714-542-5607. Hope thet helps!

We will be staying at the new GCV with friends.

The only way I bounced out of my "i do't want it" funk about the last rental was to.......take scooter decorations. I had a $15 budget...went to WallyWorld and got Christmas fabric for a big pouch for the back (carried jackets, umbrellas, etc), then glittery garland for the basket, a big red bow and a little bike bell and squeaky horn. If I had to drive the scooter, at least I could have a little fun.

Scooter village is across the street from the park on Harbor they will also deliver and have the newest of scooters. they also will price match dekerts. very nice to ! I got a week for 175.00
