Anyone know of any Christmas Science Experiment for middle school kids or a website that may have some ideas?

I'm not a science teacher I'm an art teacher but i can tell you that if you check Pinterest you can get a lot of great ideas.

Can't remember the details, but you can make ornaments using an almost-saturated solution of borax? NaCl? and colored pipe cleaners. Shape the pipe cleaners in ornament-shapes (either actual shapes, or angels, spirals, squiggles, etc.) and suspend them in the hot solution. Crystals will form around the pipe cleaner shapes as the solution cools. We used colored pipe cleaners and they were really pretty!

I bet you can search online or on Pinterest to find the actual salt used and concentrations.

You can also cut out two Christmas trees and put them together to make them stand up. (Out of construction paper) and grow crystals. Have the kids food color their tree and the crystals will grow
