Does anyone ever just stop in here for dessert or a milkshake? I also was wondering how much their milkshakes were. I do not see it on the menu.

I've never done it, but I've heard of others who have. Can't remember exactly how much milkshakes are. My estimate would be on the plus side of $4.00.

We were actually thinking about doing this too. We thought we'd stop in for desserts and some of their funky drinks. Anyone out there that's done this?

We have never just stopped in for dessert because the food is just too good to miss! We love the hamburgers, onion rings, Rubens and definitely the milk shakes! When we ate there last weekend, the waitress told us the milkshakes are from a low-fat mix, so they aren't hand-dipped. I think they are around 4.00 each and have about 4 flavors, strawberry (my favorite), chocolate, vanilla and cookies and cream. Also, the hostess told us that the Sci-Fi is the 2nd busiest (most popular) restaurant on property, with Cinderalla's being the 1st. That was the first time I heard that before. Anyway, we love it and go every time we visit --which is lots since we have AP's and try to go often. It has become one of my favorite resturants for sure! So, my opinion is to get your ressies and just eat the whole meal there! Enjoy!

You can order as much or as little as you want in any restaurant. If all you want is a milk shake or a snack, just order that. I have never seen a "minimum order" at any Disney restaurant. It won't take that long and your table will be vacated in plenty of time for the next guests.
