Sci Fi or Prime Time for kids 3, 6 & 9?

Which MGM restaurant do you think kids aged 3, 6 & 9 would enjoy most - Prime Time or Sci Fi?

I've taken a 3, 6, and 9 yr old to Sci-Fi as a matter of fact, and they all LOVED it. They still talk about the glow in the dark ice cubes. We have a ressie for our Dec. trip. We love it there. We've had great success there sharing meals with vouchers too!

The kids probably wouldn't enjoy the sci-fi movies that are shown in sci-fi. We have been to both places and think that the food quality and cm interaction is better at Prime Time. They will also have a good time with the kids by doing the food airplane to mom or dad and making sure that you keep your elbows off the table. We've found that the servings are large and easy to share.

Prime Time - is a fun place to eat, good food and service

Sci-Fi our kids (6&3 at the time) did not care for the atmosphere or movies - they were bored. the movies were old black and white. Other then eating in a car, nothing was real great - service was not that great either (3 years ago). food was pricey

I think they're about equal as far as entertainment is concerned -- it's always hard to predict how kids will react.

At Sci-Fi most kids love eating in cars! There are no "movies" as such. There is a tape with "previews" of grade Z monster movies from the 50's, with a couple or three cartoons thrown in. The movie previews are not likely to be entertaining for children -- I'm at a loss to explain why they were ever entertaining for adults! One of the cartoons is first-rate. But as the video is not "in your face" it is easy for children to ignore.

At Prime Time the entertainment depends on how the server interacts with your family; results may vary, but we've enjoyed our meals there. Just don't expect your kids to appreciate "this is just like when I was a kid"! That's always a big yawn for them.

My DDs 3 & 5 LOVED the movies clips at Sci-Fi. In fact I've never had a better/quiter dining experience, kids-in-tow, in my life!! They where absolutely mezmerized and the CMs acted out some of the lines right along with the movie Lots of fun! Depends on the kid I guess...

My kids enjoyed both, but as teens, they still talk about how the cm "made Dad eat a green bean" at PT when they were little!! They thought the cm's messing with their parents was hysterical!

My family really enjoys Sci-Fi.
We went to Prime Time once and it was lousy.

We've been to both and to be honest PrimeTime is too much like my grandmother's house...all they're missing is the TV trays and the kiddie table...I can get all the nagging at my family's get togethers..no need to pay for it.

Sci-Fi...the cool thing is eating in the car...it's just such a novelty and we let the kids sit in front and we sit behind...so cool....glow in the dark cubes are cooler there, too...food was decent and not that bad $$ wise.
