Sci Fi or Mama Melrose for Lunch?

Any preference for those who have been to both? We'll be eating at one for lunch, and a signature in the evening so nothing too ridiculously heavy!

We ate at Sci Fi yesterday and loved it! I definitely would recommend it. We have eaten at both, and I think Mama Melrose'sis great, but a bit heavy for lunch, especially if you're going to a signature later in the day.

Another vote for Sci-Fi. The burgers and onion rings are the best! We normally share since the portions are big. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT AND THE ATMOSPHERE IS AMAZING!!! This is the one place that when I am planning our Disney trips and I ask my family where they want me to get our ressies for, it is unanimous.

Mama Melrose was good, but not great. I had the chicken parm. We want to try Sci-Fi next time for the atmosphere. Does anyone know if you can you get burgers at dinner as well as lunch? I didn't see them on the menu?

With kids Si-Fi is hands down the way to go. If not I would go for Mama Melrose. It is amazing!

I've been to both. I really like the atmosphere at Sci Fi but the food is better at Mama Melrose. If you have never been to Sci Fi, you should try it!

We've been to both. While Mama Melrose has been a "hit or miss" with us (usually better at lunch), Sci Fi is ok, it's a fun place to lunch, like a "novelty" atmosphere. If you haven't done it, you should. MM is a regular restaurant and since you're doing a signature that night I'd also go with the Sci Fi just for the fun of it and it won't be as "heavy" as MM.
