Sci-Fi or 50's?

Sci Fi is our favorite... this past Christmas we had ADR's there at xmas eve, eve... we were leaving xmas eve, well we had ADR's right before HS closed. So, we just had milkshakes, hung out for a bit and watched the movies.. and then when we left Sci Fi the park was just about empty, we walked around looking at the Osbourne Lights for quite a while with hardly no one in the way, while the CM's were dancing and singing carols... it was one great memory!!!! We never liked 50's diner... my kids just don't like the environment...

Interesting... do you think that you were able to hang around at Osbourne Lights because it was Christmas Eve, or do you think you would be able to stroll over and see them any night you had a dinner ressie after close?? I've never been at a park after close, so was curious if the Osbourne lights were still lit or if CMs stop you from wandering.

depends on what ya want..if you are a burger and fries type, then go for sci-fi..if ya like a home cooked type meal then def go with the 50's !!!

My pic would def be the 50's. Its a must every time we go!! :)
Just the theming and the waiters and stuff make it fun eating experience!! :)

We aren't going til next year, but this was also my dilemma. I couldn't decide which to do at DHS, but I think I've decided on Sci Fi now that I've read the comments and my hubby doesn't like attention drawn to him. (Wait til I get him in Whispering Canyon...LOL) and this will be our first trip ever to the world and not sure when we'll get back.

We have eaten at both in the past, but chose not to do 50's on our last trip (week ago!). We ate lunch at Sci-Fi this trip and I had one of the best cheeseburgers ever there! I would love to have one right now!

I also had the peanut butter cake a la mode, it was good too! DH and DD had the hot fudge sundaes and love them, DD's BF had the cheesecake and it was served with M&M's and carmel popcorn. She loved it!

One of the best meals this trip!

I like 50's, but I am always worried i will be the one "picked on" when we eat there. I just hate that, DH loves it, but I just want to eat and not have to interact that much with the wait staff ;)
