Sci-Fi or 50's PT

ok this is my 4th time try to post this. So if you see dublicates I'm sorry but they are not showing up on my end. I'm getting quite frustrated.

anyway.....

I have 1 TS credit left that I need to make a priority seating for and I am trying to decide between lunch at 50's Prime Time or Sci-Fi. I checked out the menus for both and that really didn't help too much as I have seen mixed reviews of both. It will just be DH and myself by the way.

Well, I'm one of those who doesn't like the food at either place, but they're both worth trying for the atmosphere!

If the menus don't grab you, think if you would rather be in a car watching campy horror movie trailers on a drive-in movie screen, or if you'd rather be in "mom's" kitchen watching 1950s TV shows and being told "no dessert until you finish your veggies!"

They're both fun!

Fried chicken was great at 50's PT......IMHO

We have eaten at 50's PTC twice and really enjoy the food. We have not eaten at Sci-Fi yet but I think if we do it will just be for dessert. You will probably get mixed reviews on both of these -- when we went last year both of my sis-in-laws had meals at Sci Fi and while one family really enjoyed their meal the other family was disappointed. Good luck on your decision!!

I personally prefer Prime Time 50's for that home cooked meal feeling. I can go get a burger anyday but a home cooked meal is a rarity.

I get a kick out of 50s Prime Time - I love the servers and the interaction - one of my friends had to stand in the corner b/c she didn't eat her "veggies" which were french fries - it was quite comical...

but I have never tried Sci Fi... so I am a little biased...

We go to both, but the food at 50's PT is better. DS always talks us into a meal at Sci-Fi because he looks to sit in the car and watch the flicks.

I took my kids to both and to my surprise they liked prime time better. I thought they would like the car thing and movie atmosphere better, but they got a kick out of the waitress at 50's.
