Sci Fi or 50's Prime Time

My vote would be for the Sci Fi Theatre. The food is pretty good, I think DH and I usually have the chicken burger, the kids have the hamburgers and we all have milkshakes. It is themed very well. Each time we go to WDW we have the kids pick one thing they don't want to miss doing while we are there, it is always my youngest (now 14) that says.....we have to go to the Sci Fi for lunch.

We avoid 50's because it really does require you to get involved and not be shy. DH and DS are as shy as it comes and would never survive the meal. DH will never go back to Whispering Canyon because I asked for catsup and a diet coke! I thought he was going to kill me!

Sci-Fi is where we usually eat. It's not great food, it's very overpriced, and the seating is tough if you are in one of the cars and have an odd number of people. It's also very dark, and hard to read the menu. But....DH and DS both like it there, so we go back.

From what I've read in past posts, they don't "play" with you at 50's Prime Time unless they see that you want to participate so if you all are shy, they should pick up on that and pretty much leave you alone.

Oh dear I NEVER liked Happy days, I think I'll give it a miss and just go to Sci fi dine in, not to sure how I would take the being told off by servers maybe its just something we english don't get.

I doubt they "tell you off", I'd imagine it's just "scolding" in a fun manner. I'm sure they don't want to offend anyone.
