Is there a way to see which specific points I used when I booked?

I was looking at modifying a reservation. I thought it was mostly booked with resale points, but Riviera and CFW both showed up as options. I didn't want to risk losing my current booking by clicking through to see what happens if I don't have enough direct points in the mix. I'm just curious. If the current reservation is 370 points and I go to modify to a 170 point reservation and restricted resorts show up, does that mean that I for sure have 170 direct points in that reservation? Any chance it decides that I don't have the right points and I lose my current room?

I believe if you are going through the modify process then it doesn’t release the current room until you have finalized the processes.

You can also go into the point activity detail on a contract level on the website to see which reservation is using points from your direct contract. You have to look contract by contract.

I always just go to the end and don’t change anything and rebook it to get the point summary.

I will also screenshot it when I first book just to have a running total.

I would also like to know if you can see what kind of points you used before cancelling a reservation.

I had an Xmas day vgc studio booked that I cancelled because two nights in a 1 bedroom popped up. I booked this a while ago, so I had no idea of possible otup being In the mix and seeing that my banking deadline has passed, id rather have kept the resy if otup were used than cancel and scramble for a near impossible vgc resy that matched the points before end of uy.

I chatted with a cm to make sure before cancelling and he told me all points being used were bankable and to go ahead and cancel at ease.

This turned out to be completely false and there indeed were otup used. I was really upset and had to waste a lot of time calling MS on the phone and coming up with a solution to this.

It was a lesson learned that I need to keep track for myself, but is there any way to know in case I didnt keep track on my own and wanted to see for myself online?
