Sci Fi: May not be seated at same table?

ADR for Sci Fi says we may not be seated at the same table. We are a party of 4..2 kids and 2 adults. I need to be in the same car as my kids. Is it worth the risk or should I book something else? Anyone have to split up there before?

I've never had a problem being seated in the same car as my kids. Maybe they state that because if you are in one row of the car and your kids are in the row ahead of you, maybe they consider that different tables:confused3

They now have several seating options, including tables that can seat at least six.

Last time we went, my family was seated at two different tables. The tables were actually across from each other(about 3 feet away) but we actually had different waiters. My 2 daughters (age 8) sat at the other table while my wife and I sat at the table across. My daughters got a real kick out of having their own table and own waiter. We were given the option though of sitting together in the same car but it would have been a longer wait.

Were you all in cars?

Yes We were seated in the back row of one car, and our daughters were seated in the back row of the car on the other side of our aisle, right across from us. Each bench fits about 2 to 3 people so even if you are seated in the same car you will still be sitting one in back of the other. They do have tables like the other poster stated in a previous post but its not the same as sitting in the cars. In most likelyhood they will probably sit you in the same car but i wouldn't cancel out of concern. You can always request to just wait for the same car if one is not available right away.

Thanks! Think I will keep it. We have never been there and it looks fun.

We have never been there but that does not sound as fun as the cars. Do you still get a good view?

All the tables are still in cars... sort of. At the larger tables you sit at regular tables with the car features at either end. You still get a decent view of the screen. I will caution that the food has gone downhill in recent years. The burger is okay, but not worth $12-13.

I've gotten the same warning before and we were always seated together. I wouldn't worry about it.

Maybe this will ease your concerns a little. This is our view of our daughters seat taken from our seat.
