Sci Fi early lunch times?

I called today to make my ADR for Sci Fi lunch on 11/26 and the earliest they had was 12:10, and had to split up our party of 5 to get that. The CM knew they were open at 11 but either all the tables were reserved already or none were available. We want 11:30. Has anyone else been able to make their ADR for an earlier time Thanksgiving week or haven't they opened up those time slots yet? I know I've read about others who couldn't get the earlier times at 90 days and have been told they don't open til noon, anyone had this happen and gotten an earlier time by calling back?

When should I call back to see if they opened up the earlier tables? After park hours are released or around 30 days out?

My DF and I walked in at about 11 in early June last year, so I know they do open earlier than 12 - but my reservation for next Saturday is for 12:05 and the CM said that was their "first reservation".
