Sci fi dine In

We have never had to share a car on several trips over the years. However, if it is really crowded, I can see them doing this. I don't think they would sing at all due to the fact that there are movies playing for everyone to enjoy.

We go on 2-5 trips a year to WDW since 2000, plus a few trips in the 90s & eat at Sci Fi almost every trip. We usually go for lunch from 11:30- 1 or dinner from 5-7. We’ve never not shared a car.

We are a party of three and plan to go to Sci-Fi. Does that mean one member of our party will need to sit alone in a row or are there also car configurations that are suitable for three adults?
There is a good chance someone will be riding solo, which is not really that bad as you have more space to spread out. They will not put a stranger next to you if you are sitting alone. They do have a limited number of cars that are setup like picnic tables where you sit across from one another. There are three chairs on each side. Might be more conducive to conversation for a party of three, but I think you will find that most people are typically watching the screen.

For the OP question, we've also never not shared a car if the backseat was empty.

Sorry to hijack this tread but does anyone know if they still have the fried pickles? They are no longer on the online menu and my daughter loved them. Thank you!

I usually see those tables used for parties that include a wheelchair or customers of size or maybe with more than 1 baby in a high chair. So basically guests who wouldn’t be able to sit in the cars with narrow rows.

We love the burgers and shakes - they used to be "ok", but the last two visits, the burgers have been sooooo good!!! We have never shared a car with another family - so not sure how that is - but if you have a ressie you get a car, the tables are for walk up guests.

DD and I were a party of 2 and seated in the front seat, with a party of 4 behind us. Neither of us enjoyed the food very much; the burger had some other "taste" in it that was off-putting and the chicken salad was dry, and sparse. The movie clips are fine, but get repetitive. The best part was sitting in the quiet, semi-darkness. Definitely a one-and-done for us.

We were a party of two and were sat in the front row with a party of 4 in the two rows behind us. I didn’t find that odd but did find the general set up to be odd. Not much room for your food and the two of us could barely talk with the side by side seating so I don’t see how a party of 4 could talk. The movies repeated quicker than I expected and became repetitive. The food was just ok. I don’t think we would go back.

Following post!
So we finally scored a reservation for this weekend there for 4 of us. Couple of questions

-Are you guaranteed to have your own car or are you seated with others?
-do they sing happy birthday there (my sons birthday)

We are going for the 1st time in 2 weeks. Everyone says its dark inside. Does that mean if I get the urge and my girls are in the front seats, I can start making our with the wife like at the real drive-ins and its ok?
