Sci Fi Dine In Theater - just for dessert?

We love Sci Fi and think it is really fun. Last year we thought the food was not as good as it has been in the past. And our service was less than I remembered in the past too. Could have been an off day but at $130 for our family of 5 I was disappointed.

This year I am thinking of going in just for dessert in the mid afternoon. Has anyone done this before? Will they be upset that we are not ordering a meal? In reality I guess there is not much they can say right?

If you wish to just order dessert it is fine.

I have done this at other restaurants at WDW without problem.

Also have never encountered the server being less than "wonderful" in doing so. (as some say the servers aren't nice when you do this. But that has not been my experience)

My only suggestion is to do it on an "off" time, not right at noon or 1, but maybe a bit later. That way the crowds are calmer.

That sounds like a great idea. We went there on our last visit and thought the food was terrible but the milkshakes and desserts were fantastic. My kids love the atmosphere so this sounds perfect for our family as well. Thanks for the idea!

The best time I could get is 4:30 a little later than I wanted. I wanted around 2 but I will keep it and check back as I have plenty of time for something to open up. Thanks for letting me know it would be ok to just order dessert.
