Sci-Fi, 50's Prime Time or H&V Playhouse Disney??

Help! I just can't decide. We've never been too fond of MGM, er HS, so we really haven't eaten at many of the restaurants there. This trip I'd like to give the park more of a try. Sooo, with two kids - DS4 and DD8, which of the above three would you suggest?

DD8 is somewhat shy, but DD4 is up for ANYTHING! So, we can really go either way with activities! Oh, and we are going to be on the DDP if that makes a difference.

Sci-Fi is cute, but was'nt real impressed with food or service. H & V has very good food with lots of options. We have ate there many times and had no issue's. But keep in mind that it is a buffet....so don't expect anything other then that type of food. We love Prime Time. It's alot of fun and food/ service has always been wonderful.

Normally we eat at H&V playhouse disney breakfast and it was fine. The food was decent but the kids liked the characters and that's why we went back again. This time I decided to make a lunch and I swear- it was the most inedible food we encountered on our trip last week. The service was good, characters great- but food disgusting.

DS7 & DS18mos really enjoyed Sci-Fi on the last trip. DS18mos is a bit loud in restaurants (yes, that was us on your last trip) LOL. He was quiet as a mouse in Sci-Fi. The darkness of the room and strange quietness had a calming effect on both boys. Food was pretty good. Nothing fancy. I liked the onion rings & it is hard to ruin a burger IMO. Just stick with fast food type entrees and you will be fine. Oh yeah, I had a really good milkshake there......real good.

We have only done H&V for the character b-fast. Food was good (nice selection), characters were great. We are doing it again this Spring Break.

Why not try both? It is hard for me to compare one to the other as they are quite different.
