and my mom wanted me to go to some prestigious and shmancy private high school, but it all seemed too uptight.
plus there were no boys :O

Yeah I agree. Although I can't speak for everyone. What works for you....works and that's what you should do.

Seriously, I wish people would get it out of their mind that homeschooled kids have no social life. I see my friends every single day. I'm around people every single day. I have plenty of social life, as do a lot of other homeschooled kids.

But I understand where you're coming from.

I go to a private school
I've been to a public school as well but I personally prefer going to a private school. The classes are smaller so you get more of the teacher's attention so you understand things better and therefore you tend to get better marks.
But I still think public schools are good, it's just for me I prefer going to a private one!

I go to a private school. It is a lot of fun because it is a small school so everyone knows you. There were a couple of fights but that because we get all these kids who think they are tough and ghetto. I would most likely go to a private school because to me it is more fun.

I've been to public school all my life.
I would hate homeschooling, and it would be bad for me.
I have hardly any friends already.
I would never ever get up and ready (showered, etc) I would just lay around and stink all day.
And because I wouldn't feel any pressure to get any work done, I'd probably avoid it.
