I go to a public highschool. Even though I'm not exactly ecstatic about school, I would still much rather go to a public school than be home-schooled, or private-schooled. I like the whole highschool experience, and the fact that it's relatively free.

I might be taking some online courses this summer though, just for extra credit.

I feel bad for kids like that. I have to work with them sometimes. There is this one family they have like 12 kids, all homeschooled their whole lives. (not just homeschooled, but crazy religious homeschooled) They only interact with other homeschool kids, and occasionally one or two public school kids. They're weird, becuase they don't know how to interact with people that they've not virtually grown up with. They're quick to correct you over meaningless things, and they're quick to tell you to do things, no matter if youre supposed to be in charge of them. They've been raised as equals with older people, so they have hard times dealing with authority. They're also typically high strung and out of touch with social norms.

I'm not the worlds biggest home school advocate. Sometimes it works, most the time it doesn't.
