Has anyone seen Dry Erase Markers on sale anywhere? How about Fiskar Kids' Scissors?

Thanks!!

I'll have to check my flyers again but someone has them $1.99 for a 4 pack this week. Not sure about the fiskar scissors though.

Do you think anyone will have the filler paper for 10 cents this year? I am going to Office Depot but they aren't close to me. The last time I went they were out of the stuff in the ad's. I did get the Walgreen's paper today. It's the cheapest I've seen.

I went to office Depot today and got 5 reams of Filler paper @ .15 cents each.
I also got one of the Sharp Scientific Calculators FREE after MIR!!!!
The plastic folders and binders were a little too flimsy.

Just got back from hitting Walmart - picked up the Composition notebooks - assorted colors .50c each (got 20) and the glue sticks .22 i think

then hit Walgreens and got the folders .5c each (picked up 15) also got a ruler .19 (last one left) picked up the Wide Ruler filler paper about 6 pkgs - somehighlighers and markers and colored pencils - will stop in later in the week when they get more school supplies in.

DH and I have not children but love these sales. We go to them to get all the stuff and then donate it to a local charity for kids who cannot afford anything for back to school.

For many of these kids it is the only way they will ever get a new item for school.

We can run to WalMart when we are out and get the 5 cent notebooks, but their mom's have not way to get there and they cannot afford the ones in their area (usually way over priced).

So if anybody has extras or can afford to buy a few extras, please consider giving your surplus to a local charity (mission, salvation army, inner city school etc.) so that others can have the same happy feelings that your kids will have when they use those new Crayola crayons!

My friend runs a soup kitchen and one of the things she does is a back to school bookbag give away. I will be giving her some 5c items for sure I also let her know about the sales . She got a long message today!!

Don't forget your local Wal-Mart will price match ads. I went in yesterday with Office Depot ad and got the filler paper for .15 and the plastic folders for .01. From what I hear, the folders at Wal-mart are nicer then what Office Depot had. They were regular price .78.
Anyone know who will price match Toys R Us b1g2 free Crayola crayons? Wal-Mart will not. We live in a small town and don't have any of these stores except Staples. Thanks.

Wow! That's great! Every time I've done price matching at my WalMart, they've been extremely thourough in making sure that they are exactly the same item, same brand, same size, same sale dates, everything.:magnify:(Thankfully, I've always had an exact match.) Since mine doesn't carry Office Depot brand paper, I'm pretty sure the cash register police wouldn't allow me to do that here.::cop:

Our PTO provides the school supplies for our small school. By shopping the sales, our shopper is able to get them for far less money than most parents. Plus, then all of the kids have the same supplies... level playing ground and all that. Also, with the PTO buying the school supplies, our teachers are pretty reasonable about what supplies they ask for -- no going around town looking for odd supplies that are only carried at one or two stores for high prices.

But, since I don't have to buy supplies for our school, our family buys a backpack and fills it with supplies for an underpriledged child through DH's work (the company sponsors a different grade school in a local area each year). Our whole family loves buying the supplies and knowing that they will put a smile on a student's face.

I also stock a large pencil box for each of my kids at home for homework. It's amazing the number of families who don't think to keep a set of school supplies at home. When DS6 needs to do his homework, he just grabs his pencil box and sits down at the diningroom table.

Yes, we just went shopping at our local Walgreens yesterday and got many of the deals that you listed! This is the 1st year I've gotten school supplies at Walgreens - I don't know why I never thought of going there before?! :confused3 The 5-pack of Bic highlighters for $0.39 is a great deal! :thumbsup2

We also found 3-subject notebooks for $0.99! We stocked up! :goodvibes

I have gone to Walmart on three separate occassions and they never have the five cent notebooks. I am bummed. I want to buy a 100 of them.

Keep trying, it took me 5 trips before I finally found them! Our store has them on a pallet in unopened boxes because people are grabbing them by the boxful. I grabbed 3 boxes and will get a 4th if I ever find them again.

Where do you get the printable coupon? do you have a link? TIA

Does anyone know if Walmart will honor the Walgreens .39 coupon for the Bic highlighters? Can I print from their website and use at Walmart?

I wanted to do this, but our store was out of the Bic brand ones and was substituting a similar package of Paper Mate ones. I already used my Bic coupon (print 2) limit for the Target Bic pen sale, but I was going to do this one with the boodle coupon printed from DH's work computer. The manager did tell me that not everything was in their store yet, but all should be set by Tuesday.

Anyone know if there is or may be a sale on these? We need black and colors. Also, the "large" glue sticks--any sales? I don't know why they require these instead of just letting the students use the smaller, more economical ones:confused3 .
