I thought I'd check in with you all now that I've had the chance to go to all my classes. My conclusion? This semester is going to be absolutely insane! I think I have something like 3 research papers and tons of reading! aiee! I'm talking the second half of Western Civilization, Theatre History, beginner's tap dance, basic theatre production, American Studies. and movement. My American Studies class is going to focus entirely on the 50s. Isn't that cool? We'll be covering everything from politics to Elvis and Lucy. When the teacher asked us what we already knew about the 50s, and I raised my hand and said the opening of Disneyland.
Western Civ is gonna be hard! We're gonna cover tons of materical, and the tests are not multiple choice...
The teacher for that class is kinda intimidating. He talks loud and kinda mean sounding.
They're doing some contruction right in the middle of campus...so instead of cutting straight through, we have to walk all way around to get anywhere. It's such a pain!
My roommate and I have been getting along just fine, although we're rarely both in the room except at night. She has no problem with my late night computer habits, and we're both equal messy so no problem there either. lol.
I've signed up to take voice lessons so I'm waiting to be told when they will be. Oh, and get this- here I was thinking I'd have at least a month before Oliver auditions.....ha! Try one week! Eek! I'm signed up to audition next Saturday. It's a duel audition for both Oliver and a straight play called On the Razzle. I sure hope I can get a voice lesson in by then so I can practice my song with accompaniment!
